Miles helps keep store networks performing at their peak
PaladinMSP™, our managed services provider division, is made up of highly skilled specialists who not only safeguard clients’ business networks but also ensure they run at peak performance through comprehensive hardware and software solutions. Among those experts is technician Miles Radde, who plays a key role in keeping our stores operating smoothly.
PaladinMSP blends powerful software tools—such as Trend Micro antivirus—with Paladin’s own offerings, including DataWise™, SystemWise™, ManagedSecurity™, ManagedBackups™, and ManagedUpdates™. Together, these services help maintain secure, reliable, and efficient store operations. One of Miles’ primary responsibilities is ensuring that firewalls are properly configured, installed, and functioning as intended.
“It’s a combination of hardware and software,” Miles explains. “We configure the firewalls here, then ship them to clients. Once they receive them, they become our hands and feet, and we guide them through the installation.”
Once deployed, these firewalls protect business networks against external threats and help keep systems running efficiently. Using a remote monitoring and management platform, Miles and the PaladinMSP team supervise network performance and step in when issues arise. When challenges occur, Miles is one of the first troubleshooters to resolve them, which is something Mile’s supervisor appreciates.
“Miles has a tremendous willingness to learn and he’s got a great attitude. I appreciate that. I feel attitude is very contagious. Those are two traits he has that are very important to me and Paladin,” says Brandon Hays, Miles’ squad leader. “His willingness to take on new projects with a good attitude is huge for Managed Services.”
Paladin Managed Services is now one of the company’s fastest-growing departments. The team provides IT support for small and medium-sized businesses that may not have the resources or budget for in‑house technical staff.
“That’s what’s really cool,” Miles says. “We grew from one person years ago to a full department. That growth is driven by the new services we offer and Paladin’s growth as a company. There’s so much to learn and so much room to grow. I really enjoy that.”
Miles grew up in Avalon, the only town on Santa Catalina Island off the Southern California coast. He learned about Paladin through grade school friend Brandon Hays, now the Managed Services team lead.
Outside of work, Miles and his wife, Nataly, love exploring Central Oregon with their children, 4‑year‑old Avery and 2‑year‑old Camila.
“Being from Catalina, I love being on the water with my family,” he says. “In the winter, I’m all about snowboarding.”
