Huntsville loses a hardware icon – Donnie Lewter

Donnie Lewter, co-owner of Lewter Hardware, passed away in late July. Donnie and his brother, Mac, are the most recent Lewters to operate the store that their family founded in 1928.

Following in their father Donald’s footsteps, Donnie and Mac dedicated themselves to serving the good people of Huntsville, Alabama. Lewter Hardware has been part of the Paladin family since 2008. We express our deepest condolences to the Lewters.
