Paladin People – Robert Perrone
Robert Quietly Fulfills the Needs of Paladin Stores
Robert Perrone is a quiet guy who mostly prefers to do his job and stay in the background. But for the many stores that have joined Paladin and received equipment from the company, it’s highly likely they have benefitted from Robert’s diligent work. For over a decade, Robert has been a fixture in Paladin’s fulfillment department. He’s responsible for configuring equipment, pulling together the hardware, and making sure stores get what they need to join the Paladin family. For the past seven years, Robert has served as Paladin’s purchasing agent. Robert has a vast and varied background.
- He worked 10 years for Hewlett Packard in Corvallis, Oregon.
- For five years, he lived and worked as an English teacher in Istanbul, Turkey.
- He got to visit his family’s ancestral castle in Scotland while living in the Middle East.
Like all of Paladin’s longtime teammates, Robert has seen a lot of growth in the company and the industry. He started with the company when it had fewer than two dozen employees working at its facility at the Bend, Oregon municipal airport. Now, he has more than three times that many coworkers at corporate locations in Bend and Mesa, Arizona.
Robert says he’s looking forward to retiring someday and pursuing other interests. For now, though, he’ll continue making sure Paladin clients have everything they need to operate smoothly and efficiently.
