Dave Helps Stores to Help Themselves
If your store has joined the Paladin family over the past few years, there’s a good chance you have talked to Dave Wyer. He’s one of our relationship managers who help merchants discover how Paladin can help their businesses improve their retail processes.
Dave joined Paladin in 2018 and since then has become a fixture in our sales department because of his product knowledge, easy-going, unassuming nature, and desire to help stores succeed. Talking to Dave, you’d never know he was a notable athlete at the University of Oregon playing both football and lacrosse. He both played and coached the lacrosse team when it won four consecutive Pacific Northwest Collegiate Lacrosse League championships. In 2019, he was recognized for those accomplishments when he was inducted into the school’s athletics Hall of Fame.
He earned a degree in business management and worked in the athletic department in student-athlete development for several years after graduation. He, his wife, Autumn, and their daughter, Kennedy, are now are valuable members of the Paladin family. Dave has helped more than 200 independent businesses become more successful through their use of Paladin’s retail management system.
“Paladin’s been good to me. I’m very appreciative they took a chance on a quirky guy and gave me an opportunity,” he says in his typically self-deprecating way.
