Stores more often than not purchase lumber and building materials in bulk and sell it by the piece.  We have long provided tools that simplify the often-complicated process of selling those products. Our Summer 2020 Release has a trio of features that make it easy to display those calculations to customers. 

Thousand Board Feet pricing  allows you to view item prices  and cost in thousand board feet (MBF), thousand square feet (MSF) or TON units when you sell products or view inventory.  This tool is especially helpful for products that are priced by suppliers in a different unit of measure than you use for your inventory items.    

Square Footage calculator  helps  you sell items in both varying lengths and widths.   This tool calculates the total square footage and price from the dimensions (width/length) and quantity (pieces) you provide. If you are selling different sizes, you can enter them all at the same time in the Square Footage Calculator window. 

Mobile2Checkout is another tool that makes selling out in the lumberyard a breeze.
