Recall Transaction Preview
In the Invoice Quote module, there is a new column on the left with a magnifying glass for each item in the list that makes viewing the item fast and easy.
When users click and hold the magnifying glass, a preview of that item opens, and disappears when the user releases the button. There is also new instruction at the top of the grid “hold magnifying glass for Preview” and a “learn more” icon with more information.
Fraud Warning: Paladin Has Your Back
Payment card fraud is a rapidly growing problem for retail businesses. Worldwide credit card fraud is projected to reach $43 billion this year, with 43% of those cases occurring in the United States. In many cases, stores are receiving phone calls requesting them to process a credit card return to a card not associated with the purchase.
Paladin has added a Fraud Warning as an additional safeguard for card-not-present credit card returns not associated with an invoice. This additional warning helps protect clients from ongoing scams targeting retail employees.
Now, when a return is being performed, and the return is not associated with a known invoice, and the money is being returned to a manually entered credit card, Paladin will interrupt the normal workflow and produce the following Return without Invoice message:
Important Reminders
Paladin technicians will never:
- Ask you to process a refund to a credit card they provide.
- Request your passwords, login credentials, or other sensitive information.
- Call on weekends unless responding to a store-down issue that you reported.
- Ask for remote access in order to process a refund transaction.
If you believe you are being targeted by a scammer:
- Do not provide remote access to your network.
- End the call immediately.
- Contact Paladin Support at 800-725-2346 (Option 2) to verify the request.
This new warning serves as an additional layer of protection, helping employees recognize suspicious activity before a fraudulent transaction can occur.
These updates reflect Paladin’s ongoing commitment to making your workflows more efficient while helping keep your business secure.
