What’s New in Paladin
Paladin continues to roll out updates that make everyday store operations easier, more efficient, more accurate, and more flexible. Here’s a quick look at what’s new:
PaladinPOS™
Supporting Certified Scales (NTEP)
Whether you’re weighing candy, produce, or bulk items, accuracy matters—not just for your customers, but also to meet legal standards.
PaladinPOS now supports NTEP-certified scales, which are approved to ensure they weigh items correctly under all conditions. This includes factors like temperature changes and consistent precision over time.
For stores using Magellan 9800i scanners, Paladin can now display the certification details right at the terminal, helping you stay compliant with state inspection requirements and giving you peace of mind.
More Flexible Inventory Locations
Keeping track of inventory just got easier.
PaladinPOS now allows you to assign multiple locations to a single item. This means if you stock the same item in different spots – like a shelf, endcap, or back room – you can track all those locations in the system.
This added flexibility helps improve organization, makes restocking faster, and keeps inventory levels more accurate.
Improved Item Lookup
Searching for items is now smoother and more efficient. With the updated Advanced Lookup, your search stays open while you continue working. This means you don’t have to reopen it every time you need to look something up.
When you’re finished, simply press the Esc key to close it.
New Opportunity: In-Store Gift Card Mall
Ace stores can now offer customers even more value with an in-store gift card mall.
By signing up for both the Ace gift card program and the InComm gift card mall program, stores can display and sell a wide range of popular gift cards, all in one place.
Here’s what to expect:
- Around 70 popular non-Ace gift card brands
- A free 72-peg spinner rack display
- Space to feature Ace gift cards alongside other brands
- No cost to participate
Enrollment is open year-round, and once you sign up, the InComm team handles setup and timing—including delivery and display installation.
