Burdette & Sons Highlighted in HW Connection
How’s your business? Connor McCraw, owner of B.W. Burdette & Sons Hardware, was asked this question by Hardware Connection. His response made the online magazine’s January edition.
Connor, a fourth-generation Fountain Inn, South Carolina business owner, has owned Burdette Hardware since 2018 and has been with Paladin Data Corporation since 2023. Connor grew up in the hardware business. His father, Alan, and uncle, Art, owned the business, which started in neighboring Simpsonville and later grew to include a store in Fountain Inn.
When Connor and his wife, Dusti, purchased the store in 2018, allowing the elder McCraws to retire, they consolidated the two stores in Fountain Inn, which is on the southeast outskirts of the greater Greenville metro area in northwest South Carolina. In 2025, the McCraws added a store in Gray Court, a neighboring community southeast of Fountain Inn. Burdette & Sons has been with Paladin Data Corporation since 2023.
