Blountville Hardware Lauded for Hurricane Relief Efforts

Carl Houser Sr. and his family were deeply invested in Blountville, Tennessee before he bought a hardware store that had recently been shuttered in 2023 at auction. He had operated an auto dealership since 2008 and decided to give hardware a try when he realized the need.
“It was needed in our town,” Carl told House-Hasson Hardware’s ToolBox magazine. “You have to drive 16 miles to get a key cut.”
The community warmly welcomed the new 2,000-square-foot store when it opened in March 2024, with many residents expressing their gratitude through heartfelt “Thank you” notes.
The Houser family’s dedication to their community was further demonstrated on September 26, 2024, when Hurricane Helene struck Florida and the southern Appalachian Mountains. In response, the Housers, Blountville Hardware, and House-Hasson rallied to support those affected.
The Houser’s goodwill and concern for their neighbors is highlighted in House-Hasson’s Toolbox magazine. They have been a Paladin client since March 2024.
McKenzie Lumber Featured in Hardware Connection
McKenzie Lumber Company, a Paladin client since 2016, was featured in two sections of the March edition of Hardware Connection.
