Paladin Clients Making History and Headlines
Three Paladin clients were spotlighted in the November 2024 edition of Hardware Connection.
Hunter’s Hardware was inducted into Hardware Connection’s Century Club. Originally founded in 1870 by Romanus Hunter as a harness and wagon shop in Berkeley Springs, West Virginia, the store is now owned by Danny Davison, who took over from partner Debbie Dick in 2018. The company celebrated its 150th anniversary in 2020 and has been part of the Paladin family since 2019.
Morris Hardware and Hurley Hardware and Company were featured in the pictorial section, “An Inside Look – Gobbling Up Thanksgiving Spirit,” showcasing their Halloween and Thanksgiving decorations on pages 80-81.
Morris Hardware, established in the mid-1800s, remains family-owned, with Tom Schanken as the sixth-generation owner in McConnelsville, Ohio. It is the oldest family-owned store in the state and the sixth oldest in the country. Morris Hardware joined the Paladin family in 2023.
Hurley Hardware, serving Hurley, Mississippi since 1955, has been with Paladin since 2013.
