Paladin Clients Highlighted in the News
Several Paladin clients were featured in the October Hardware Connection. Fergus Home & Hardware was in the “How’s Business” section, Sinclair’s Hardware was highlighted for its promotion of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Beaufort Ace Home Center was featured for its sponsorship of the World Skydiving Championships, and Melrose Lumber got a shout-out for its merchandising.
Eric Nelson’s store in Fergus Falls, Minnesota, serves the residents of western Minnesota about an hour southwest of Fargo, North Dakota. The store offers much more than a normal hardware store with home appliances, furniture, window treatments, fireplaces, flooring and more. It even has a hockey and skate shop.
Fergus Home & Hardware was also called out by the magazine for its merchandising of caulks and sealants on Page 67.
The store joined the Paladin family in 2021. Read the story on Page 26
Sinclair’s Hardware is owned and operated by the Belcher family in Dunshore, Pennsylvania. Jack is the owner and he has Caitlinn, Caleb and Cathy all on staff.
Sinclair’s and Dunshore are in northern Pennsylvania, which, according to Wikipedia, has the only traffic light in Sullivan County. See the photos on Pages 70-71.

Beaufort Ace Home Center in Beaufort, North Carolina, was a sponsor of the 2024 World Skydiving Championships at Michael J. Smith Field.

Melrose Lumber was featured for its display of caulks and sealants on Page 67.
Chip Cohen’s family has owned Melrose since 1922. He’s a fifth-generation owner. It’s located in Ossining, New York, and has been a Paladin client since 2019.
