Stores that sell firearms and utilize Paladin’s integration with FastBound, an industry leader in processing transactions and compliance, will appreciate our latest release – 2021-D. 

The integration lets stores receive and sell firearms in Paladin while simultaneously updating FastBound acquisition and dispersion (A&D) data and their electronic bound books. Our latest release has updates to the setup and reconciliation tools that collect Transferers Transaction Serials Numbers (TTSN), Other Transaction Serial Numbers (OTSN), driver’s license, and carry concealed weapon (CCW) information. 

Customizing customer types

Years ago, we added a list of customer types to Paladin, which allowed Ace stores to accurately track the activity of their customers. We eventually made this feature available to all our stores. Paladin now allows non-Ace Hardware stores to hide the default customer types and display only customer types they create. This customization allows stores to create business statistics that accurately show customer activity in reports, such as the Transaction Report and Comparative Revenue Report. 

New Orgill distribution center

Paladin allows Orgill stores to view stock on hand at their designated regional warehouse or distribution center when placing EDI orders. Our latest release adds Orgill’s new distribution center in Rome, New York to its list of supported locations. 

We’ve also added two new bin tag styles and a new barbell item tag that is useful for identifying and pricing small items to our LTSR catalog.
